The hierarchy is the primary culprit in this continuing three years’ folly of the CWI-Phil Simmons circus.  Mayers, Brooks are not in the category as Sherfane Rutherford, Fabian Allen, Shimron Hetmyer, Evin Lewis, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. Otherwise, IPL and other T20 leagues would have offered Brooks and Mayers opportunities to exhibit their skills in exchange to and for access to capital – Rothschild money supply. However, series after series of losing West Indies cricket, Brooks and Mayers and other similar mediocre players are preferred by Haynes and Simmons. CWI hierarchy must end such confounded nonsense.

Organized cricket in the English speaking Caribbean was started as a European social construct.  No melanin dominant humans were allowed on the field of play. No East Indian has occupied major offices in Cricket West Indies.  Individuals such as Daren Ganga, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan ought to be given the opportunity to rectify Cricket West Indies. No Indian nonsense must be changed. Bias against Guyanese and Indian spinners must be eradicated. West Indies have numerous talented cricketers. Team play and playing above the shoulders is questionable. Coaches and selectors must be held accountable as well as players. Phil Simmons has not won a damn thing. He is the primary villain of West Indies cricket 2019-2022.  Phil Simmons ranting against Hetmyer is not reasonable. IPL franchises 2019-2022 vehemently disagree with your impressions. Hetmyer in 2016 was the captain of West Indies under 19 world cup winning team. Hetmyer has winning pedigree. He should have been nurtured instead Phil Simmons and Roger Harper were allowed to victimize and ostracize the best talented batsman in West Indies cricket. Hetmyer is in the tradition of Everton Weekes, Clyde Walcott, Collie Smith, Gary Sobers, Seymour Nurse, Clive Lloyd, Roy Fredericks, and Brian Lara – ball beaters extraordinaire.
