Plantation Golden Grove

 MaaNgala Oni Shankalla

Golden Grove - Nabaclis Village District

December 13, 2013  ·

Plantation Golden Grove, was purchased on January 5, 1848. Bentick Sancho, and Tuckness Sancho, are listed among the Shareholders and Joint-Proprietors. The plantation was divided into fifty two (52) shares. by my calculation there were thirty four shareholders, sixteen shares of two joint proprietors and two shares of three joint proprietors. therefore the total number of known persons involved in the purchasing is seventy- two (72). other than the area of the plantation and its geography,   I have no further meaningful information relative to the events prior to the purchase. I accessed what amounts to spectulation - conjecture - that the would be  purchasers  met regularly under a tamarind tree  located in front of the Sam family residence at Sand Street.

The following are the names of the Shareholders and  Joint-Proprietors.

Whenever you share this information, just say you obtain it from Muriel Sancho 's last child, M'lilwana Osanku aka Egyptian Crappaud.  I will make the account of the purchase of Plantation Nabaclis known  here before Christmas 2013.

Do not be fooled by culture pirates selling their opinions as well researched accounts of our history.  Fire burn those devils.

Long live our ancestors - reclaiming our history from the bottom-up not top-down....
