CWI Report - Cover-Up or Deception – Waste of Human Resources.

 This POW loves Hetmyer even more. This POW loves Berbice cricketers above, over and above every other cricket regardless of their production and achievements. Rohan Kanhai, Basil Butcher, Roy Fredericks, Alvin Kallicharran and Shimron Hetmyer are his favorite internationals. This POW is loyal. His loyalty to Davison Cup Club Cricketers, 1966 -1972 is beyond doubt. Joe Doolam, Randolph Etwaroo, Burlin Saheed, Annand Sookram, Isaac Suinarine, Randolph Ramnarace, Ancel Hazel, Joe Sukwah, and Lall Munilall are his absolute favorites. He loved reading George Moonasar and Shan Razack. This POW used to cry whenever he was made aware Berbice lost to Demerara. He had many great difficulties enduring British Guiana/Guyana being defeated by Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica and Viv Richards’s teams. British Guiana/Guyana losing to touring teams was not as painful as losses to regional teams. But nothing was a terrible as Berbice being defeated by Demerara. 

This POW is Upper Corentyne, Corentyne, Canje, Berbice, Guyana and West Indies in that order. He roots for ball-beaters and touch players. He hates grafting and grafters. He prefers slugging and sluggers over grafting and grafters.

This POW regrets Hetmyer did not hire a Jew international sports attorney, sue Cricket West Indies covering Nov 2019 - Dec 2022. Cricket West Indies paid Phil Simmons $300,000 USD for further ruining West Indies cricket. Hetmyer should demand wages for twenty two (22) missed test matches. Otherwise seek judgment in the courts. Ambrose had no interest in a cover-up. 

This POW is absolutely sure Ricky Skerritt, Kishore Shallow, Johnny Grave, Jimmy Adams, Desmond Haynes, Phil Simmons, Rawl Lewis, Roddy Estwick, and others of Cricket West Indies and the panel:  Patrick Thompson, Brian Lara, and Mickey Arthur, really think melanin dominant humans linked to the English speaking Caribbean Sea Basin are gullible. The commissioners seemed to be restricted to CWI’s guidelines. Critique of Cricket West Indies, selectors, coaching staff, ground preparation, and nurturing of cricketers are remarkably absent. Perhaps, Cricket West Indies do not pay attention to the views of our on the various information outlets. Otherwise, Cricket West Indies would not bother with the charade of a panel. If Cricket West Indies cared about producing winning West Indies Cricket -There are more than enough listening post out there which cover perhaps every aspect and phase of organized cricket in the Caribbean 1865-2023. 

It is clear. the commissioners did not think it was paramount to interview the following; Hilbert Foster, Berbice Cricket Board, Anthony Bramble, Fabian Allen, Romario Shepherd, Hayden Walsh, Bissoondyal Singh, Guyana Cricket Board, and Cricket West Indies “failed fitness test 5” Chanderpaul Hemraj, Hetmyer, Lewis, Narine, and Sherfane Rutherford; Indians and spinners, Devendra Bishoo, Rahkeem Cornwall, Imran Khan, Nikita Miller, Gudakesh Motie, Veerasammy Permaul, and Jomel Warrican.

This POW is not surprised. Guyana seems to be Cricket West Indies unwanted step child. This POW questions the boundaries the three commissioners were defined. This exercise is as abysmal as this POW expected. There is nothing about improving the wickets; thereby the batsmen would be better than Lance Gibbs. No West Indies batsman chosen November 2019 – January 2023 has an average over forty runs except Chanderpaul. 

This POW is certain, Hetmyer, Hope and Pooran regressed Nov 2019 -Dec 2023. The rehiring of Phil Simmons is exhibit of European construct - plantation behavior needs to be trashed. Current cricketers must be consulted respecting the hiring of administrative staff. Cricket West Indies is reminiscent of plantation society. Board Cricket Control India will further reduce West Indies to minor leagues

The Grudge Patrick Thompson is ridiculous.  The Grudge did not indict Cricket West Indies; in fact the Grudge stated   Phil Simmons is blameless. This POW is not surprised.  The Grudge reported the best West Indies cricketers play T20, globally. West Indies cricket is gravely ill. West Indies cricket need intensive care. However, Cricket West Indies is not to blame. Phil Simmons is not blame. The Grudge is a typical imitation European. The Grudge managed to make a few recommendations which may be useful in prolonging the inevitable – the demise of West Indies Cricket.  Lord Chalkdust referred to such nonsense as “Just So.” Perhaps, a players’ class action suit will bury Cricket West Indies. And out of the fall of West Indies cricket at least six entities will arise. Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) needs to divorce Cricket West Indies. It’s long overdue. This POW thought on May 26, 1966 GCB would be free of West Indies Cricket Board of Control. This POW is confident Berbice can beat numerous ICC associates. He is sure Berbice can beat bottom test teams. This POW is always wished Burnham banned West Indies Cricket Board from Guyana, instead of demanding an apology from Gary Sobers. Guyana should have begun playing tests during the early 1970s.

Cricket West Indies probably remunerated the three for nonsense. Cricket West Indies would have better served by simply listening to the voice of the people. Certainly, during the last three years, our people using various information outlets have wailed against Cricket West Indies, its management, selectors, coach’s selectors and players.  Therefore, Cricket West Indies would not have issued this nonsense – Is it a cover-up or deception or both?  Whatever it is – it’s a waste of human resources.
