Foster-Ambrose for President of Cricket West Indies March 2023

This POW expects Australia to sweep the Desmond Haynes select West Indies in the two test matches series by and innings and well over 159 runs in both matches. Australia need to hand this Barbadian dominant group, a much worse trashing than New Zealand did two years ago. Otherwise, ACB needs a commission of inquiry respecting performance and administration. Under no circumstances, Australia should bat twice in a test match.

This POW is rooting for Tagenarine Chanderpaul to record a debut test century and top West Indies batting average. He is also rooting for Alzarri Joseph to score to test century, grab a five wickets haul, dismiss the most batsmen and top the bowling averages.

The next CWI election is scheduled for March 2023. This POW is advocating every face of loosing West Indies cricket be removed from CWI administration, therein. John Grave, Jimmy Adams, Rickey Skerritt, Kishore Shallow, Desmond Haynes, the coaching staff and their brand of politics of bias and hostile environment is replaced with balanced reasoning, and current performance justification for selection and employment, period.

If any of the aforementioned are in place after the next general meeting West Indies supporters can expect more of the same – the continuum of losing cricket 1995 -2023 going forward.

This prisoner of war is not impressed with George and Mariah exposing themselves as exponents and guardians of English Language. George and Mariah exhibited Ancestral Consciousness Deficiency Syndrome. George and Mariah choice to be ridiculous by attempting to lambast Wilford Billy Heavens, President of Jamaica Cricket Association for having difficulties with English Language. Heavens was attempting to express  his observations respecting the continuum of the decline of West Indies cricket.

This prisoner of war is confident Wilford Heavens is referring to West Indies cricket doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, 1995-2022. He was attempting to  point out, If you want different results than what you’re getting, you have to try different approaches.

This prisoner of war suggests Hilbert Foster as an administrator who could change the behavior and trajectory of West Indies cricket.

This prisoner of war was quite surprised George mentioned Roy Fredericks and Alvin Kallicharran as cricketers, younger people of prior generations, imitated.

This prisoner of war began loving cricket with Rohan Kanhai. And it continued with Roy Fredericks. Mother would turn off the radio, whenever Rohan Kanhai was dismissed.  The interest evaporated – game over. This behavior was transferred to the Roy Fredericks experience. Shimron Hetmyer is the only other batsman who influences that reaction. This prisoner of war also admired the following West Indies test cricketers; Basil Butcher, Alvin Kallicharran, Lance Gibbs, Clive Lloyd, Roy Gilchrist, Collie Smith, Learie Constantine, Clifford Roach, George Headley, Clyde Walcott, Everton Weekes, Sony Ramadhin, Al Valentine, Gary Sobers, Seymour Nurse, Wes Hall, Charlie Griffith, Deryck Murray, and Lawrence Rowe.

Hence, 30 years of awful cricket - needs to be ended - must be ended in 2023.

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

If you want different results than what you’re getting, you have to try different approaches.

This POW advocates Foster-Ambrose for President of Cricket West Indies.

This prisoner of war becomes really depressed whenever he realizes; it is underprivileged working class males who perform such atrocities against our people and messengers of our people for such trivial pursuits.  Too many petty vampires have removed our iconic meaningful change agents from the physical realm of existence. ICC Men's T20 World Cup, Abu Dhabi

Sri Lanka 189-3 (20 overs): Asalanka 68 (41), Nissanka 51 (41); Russell 2-33

West Indies 169-8 (20 overs): Hetmyer 81* (54), Pooran 46 (34); Hasaranga 2-19, Binura 2-24

Sri Lanka won by 20 runs

On November 4, 2021 Cricket West Indies  should have fired Phil Simmons and replaced Kieron Pollard with with Hetmyer.

Instead, Cricket West Indies failed the “failed fitness test 5” Hemraj, Hetmyer, Lewis, Narine, and Rutherford, in favor of Simmons. Perhaps, more importantly Cricket West Indies wasted a further 352 days, with Phil Simmons and coaching staff. Chanderpaul, Ambrose, Walsh, Sarwan, Ganga, Badree, Sammy, and Samuels ought to be managing Cricket West Indies instead of Haynes, Adams, Simmons and Estwick.  Cricket West Indies must also remove John Grave.

Only former internationals must be coaches. And there ought to be no more than nine administration members assigned to a squad. Perhaps, five is the ideal number

Experience, fitness, names and talent do not win matches. Performances win matches.  The selectors made awful choices. This prisoner of war preferred Allen over Cariah. Seales is a better choice than Cottrell. This prisoner of war current favorite West Indies fast bowlers are Chamar Holder, Joseph, and McCoy. This prisoner of war love winning West Indies cricket.

Love to see King, Hetmyer, Rutherford, and Pooran in West Indies test team.

One Guyanese on West Indies teams 1887-2022, has never been winning cricket.  Perhaps, every African-Guyanese has African Barbadian ancestral heritage. This confounded asininity of national, island and ethnic cleavage is the root cause of the demise of winning West Indies cricket.

In current times, in Guyana, its ineptness and ethnic cleavage the Guyana Cricket Board trying to stifle, stagnate and undermine Hilbert Foster and the Berbice Cricket Board and their cricket development programs in Berbice.

Let’s be clear in CPL 2022 GAW had a handful of GAW Hetmyer, Motie, Shepherd, and Sinclair (Berbice) with Hemraj (Demerara) and Paul (Essequebo) are the other Guyanese. Jermaine Blackwood, Odean Smith (Jamaica), Shai Hope (Barbados),  Ingram, Klaasen Shamsi (South Africa), Stirling (Irish), Tahir (Pakistan) Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Shakib Al Hasan are foreigners.

Cricket West Indies must have its own T20 competition excluding foreigners and with an increased pool of cricketers. Perhaps, Cricket West Indies need to consider having at least two T20 and OD competitions, annually.

This prisoner of war love to be made aware Rutherford, Ashmead Nedd is in the Guyana cricket.

More importantly in 2023, Berbice, Demerara, and Essequebo need to participate in every Cricket West Indies competition.  Perhaps, as many of ten teams ought to participate in Cricket West Indies T20 and OD competitions in 2023.

Berbice team would be formidable: Kevlon Anderson, Anthony Bramble, Shimron Hetmyer, Gudakesh Motie, Veerasammy Permaul, Kelvin Umrao, Clinton Pestano, Romario Shepherd, Kevin Sinclair, Junior Sinclair, Jason Sinclair, Nail Smith, Isai Thorne, Rampertab Ramnauth, Shamar Joseph and Demetri Cameron.

Berbice: Veerasammy Permaul (Captain); Kevlon Anderson; Shimron Hetmyer; Rampertab Ramnauth; Jonathan Foo; Anthony Bramble; Jason Sinclair; Romario Shepherd; Clinton Pestano; Junior Sinclair; Kevin Sinclair; Gudakesh Motie; Nial Smith and Demetri Cameron.

What are your thoughts respecting? Kevlon Anderson, Kelvin Umrao, Keon Sinclair, Kevin Sinclair, Jason Sinclair, Junior Sinclair, Sylus Tyndall, Jonathan Rampersaud, Isai Thorne, Rampertab Ramnauth, and Demetri Cameron.

Berbice, Demerara and Essequebo need to compete in at least one full length match (four days), annually.

Berbice, Demerara and Essequebo need to three T20s and ODs competitions, yearly with alternative arrangements for rain-outs.

Where are Kelvin Umrao, Jason Sinclair, Joshua Jones, and Ricardo Adams?

Ronsford Beaton and Keon Joseph need to join Vishual Singh and  Christopher Barnwell in retirement in January 2023.

Window of opportunity is closing for Anthony Bramble, Chandrapaul Hemraj and Clinton Pestano.

Berbice bowlers- Smith, Shepherd, Sinclair, Motie and Permaul - failed to defend 318 runs against Jamaica. The five bowlers did not make the argument Berbice must be represented in CWI competitions in 2023. WI selectors must be well pleased those Indian spinners failed miserably. This POW is absolutely devastated. The rise of Berbice cricket is in a holding pattern. The decline of Clinton Pestano with the bat is the most surprising reality of the competition.
